Speed and Simplicity Are The Hallmarks Of These Industrial Check Weighing Scales

CBK Weighing scales

Adam Equipment, a world-class manufacturer of mass measurement equipment, has introduced its CBK Bench Scales, a new family of industrial scales for basic weighing, check weighing, and parts counting. CBK scales have higher capacities and extra standard features – at lower prices than the CBW line, which they have replaced.

“The CBK is unbeatable – it offers industrial users so much more yet we were able to cut the list price of all six models compared to its predecessor, the CBW,” said Alan Storey, Managing Director of Adam Equipment. “With the CBK’s increased capacities and all the features we have added to simplify and speed operation, there isn’t a better value out there for agricultural, warehouse, production, field, or other industrial applications that need a bench scale in this range.”

The versatile CBK performs basic weighing, check weighing, parts counting, and percent weighing – in a choice of five units (g, kg, lb, oz, Lb:oz). The scale features numerous advancements for easier, faster operation. First, the CBK’s LED check limit indicators simplify check weighing by correlating the specific light color to a certain reading range: under, over, acceptable, or in-sequence for a dynamic indication. The built-in memory can store high and low limits for up to ten samples, allowing the most commonly tested items to be checked even faster. To minimize overfill errors, a capacity tracker has been added to alert operators with audible and visual signals when the scale’s capacity is being exceeded. Plus, a now standard bi-directional RS-232 interface allows data to be transmitted to printers or PC’s. The final upgrades added to the new CBK line includes built-in time date/time for better traceability, and multi-language text output for more accurate data recording by operators regardless of their expertise in the English language. With all these features, no other bench scale comes close to the CBK for versatility.

The design of the CBK, inside and out, makes sense for the industrial environment. The numeric keypad allows users to enter numeric values for preset tare, check weigh limits, and piece weights while the color-coded keys quickly identify the most commonly used functions. The scale’s large backlit LCD display is easy to read even in poorly lit industrial locations. The machine’s overload protection, together with its sealed keypad/display and stainless steel pan, protect the CBK from the tough conditions found in the industrial environment. The internal rechargeable battery with low-battery indicator permits the CBK to be used anywhere from field applications to the warehouse where external power is not readily available. Whether plugged in or on batteries the auto power-off saves energy by shutting down. There are six models ranging from 8 lb/4000 g x 0.0002 lb/0.1 g to 100 lb/48000 g x 0.005 lb/2 g. With prices starting at $375, there is a CBK to fit almost any budget.

All Adam balances and scales are backed by Adam Assurance Warranties with responsive and reliable service before, during, and after the sale. The company offers optional accessories to complement CBK scales, including a carry case, an in-use wet cover, a factory-installed weigh-below hook for density, data collection software, and a printer.
